The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) officially announced the results for both Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations on April 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM. This announcement marks a crucial milestone in the academic journey of more than 54 lakh students who appeared for the exams earlier this year. The results were declared during a press conference held at the UPMSP headquarters in Prayagraj.
The board examinations were conducted between February 24 and March 12, 2025, across thousands of centers in Uttar Pradesh. This year, around 25.56 lakh students appeared for Class 10 (High School) exams, while approximately 25.77 lakh students sat for the Class 12 (Intermediate) exams. The massive participation once again highlights UP Board’s status as one of the largest educational boards in the world.
Students can check their results online on the official website upmsp.edu.in. Alongside this, digital marksheets are also available on DigiLocker, ensuring students get instant and verified access to their scorecards. To view the result, students need to enter their roll number and other basic details as mentioned on their admit cards.
To pass the examination, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject. Those who fail to meet this criterion have the option to appear for compartment exams, which are scheduled to be held in July 2025. Moreover, students unsatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation of answer sheets. The application window for rechecking will open in May 2025, and revised results are expected by July.
The UP Board will soon release a detailed statistical report including overall pass percentage, district-wise results, and the list of top-performing students. These insights are not only significant for academic analysis but also help schools, teachers, and education departments improve their teaching strategies.
The UPMSP has also warned students and parents against fake news and fraudulent websites. Students are advised to rely solely on the official portals and not be misled by rumors regarding result updates or procedures.
